On Friday, September 9, 2016, Towson University hosted a special breakfast ceremony for the USM Board of Regents Staff Awards. Mildred Homa, Researcher Administrator for the Department of Marine Biotechnology (UMBC), was among the recipients to receive the 2015-2016 USM Board of Regents Staff Award in the category of Effectiveness and Efficiency.
This award is the highest honor bestowed by the USM Board of Regents to recognize exemplary staff members.
